Description
Lodge located on a plot of four hectares in the Solcor ayllu, at the foot of a forest of native trees, carob trees and chañares, in front of maize crops, wonders and alfalfa. When we arrived and fell in love with this paradisiac place, almost 30 years ago, we find here people of amazing wisdom and rich ancient culture, who welcomed us and transmitted their knowledge to live. In the sharing we learned to build the millenary usability, with the natural materials of the area, namely clay, wood and pitch (atriplex), all handmade, step by step, apprenticeship that we applied both in our personal housing first as well Now in this pulse-laden Lodge over a span of two years, with material that we have been stocking for decades. Walking is fifteen minutes to the historic center of San Pedro de Atacama, on Calle Antonio León, where there are still ancestral crops and grazing lambs and llamas. From the rooms as well as the common places we enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the mountain range and its numerous volcanoes, “face to face” with the volcano Licancabur 5.956 m.s.n.m. (Lican -Pueblo / cabur -Cerro) our natural Eiffel Tower. Five exclusive suites of 35 m2 permanently equipped for four or five people in two communicated environments. We have fully equipped kitchen open to our guests 24 hrs. Breakfast and maid services as well as parking and Wi-Fi – broadband 10 mega fiber optic – are included. Laundry with additional cost. We are pioneers in tourism in this area, we have organized for 30 years excursions to places of tourist interest as well as treks and ascents to volcanoes in exclusive tours. More than a simple business, our lodge is a way of life that we can at last give ourselves the luxury of sharing with our guests, within the framework of the innumerable benefits offered by this magical Atacama desert, which continues to dazzle us day by day.
